As summed up in the Aikamatya Sukta that concludes the Rig Veda:
saṅgacchadhvaṃ saṃvadadhvaṃ saṃvo manāṃsi
jānatāṃ evā bhāgaṃ yathāpūrve sañjānānā upāsate ||
संगच्छध्वं संवदध्वं संवो मनांसि जानतां देवा भागं यथापूर्वे संजानाना उपासते ।।
Let us unite and be together, speak together, agree in thought and receive
our share of blessings, just as the united Devata-s did in the past.
Udupi Krishna and Austin
Austin is connected with Lord Krishna & HH Shri Sugunendra Tirtha Swamiji of Puthige, Udupi since 1997. HH Swamiji affectionately calls Austin as “Aastika Nagara” given its large number of devoted believers!
Austin devotees have been blessed to offer Seva many times to 700+ year old Puttige Samsthaana Deities including Mahapooja, Evening Cradle Pooja and HH Swamiji Paada Pooja during visits to their homes.
Swamiji has also given Mantra Deeksha (initiation to meditate), Anugraha Sandesha (inspirational messages), Paatha (classes) and Maarga Darshana (spiritual guidance) for the upliftment of devotees, especially the younger generation who enjoy interacting with Him.
Viewing the whole world as a single family (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam) with a focus on aspiring good souls (Sajjana Samooha), Swamiji has been showing the path of devotion (Bhakti Maarga) to uplift all devotees globally for over five decades.
HH Puthige Swamiji has now established Shri Venkata Krishna Vrundavana in Austin – a unique enablement for all Aastika Nagara devotees to benefit from Hindu Samskaara (tradition) for generations to come!!
