It is a public event and open to all.

10:30 AM: Sri Purandara Dasa Day – Introduction

12 PM to 2:30 PM: solo/group vocal, instrument and dance presentations by all registered participants is organized in MPHR Hall.
(Deadline for registration is 11:59 PM , January 25th, 2022. Registration after this date will be accepted based only on the availability)
Guidelines for individual and group performances:
- All presentations are of Sri Purandara Dasa compositions ONLY.
- Vocal/instrument : 5 minutes max
- Dance : 6 minutes max
- Owing to time constraints, the number of participants is limited to 16 children and 24 adults. If we are out of slots for your category and you wish to participate, you are encouraged to wait till the program ends. If there is any time left you will be given an opportunity.
- Please note that the sequence of items is subject to change.
- Pre-registration date may be changed depending upon the number of entries received.
- rAga AlApanas, niravals and kalpanA svaras should be avoided. Please recognize that this is a forum for paying homage to Sri Purandara DAsaru and not for showcasing one’s improvisational abilities. AHT may provide an opportunity to a few individuals or a group to present their manodharma sageetham in a mini-concert format for a duration not exceeding 30 minutes. However, such participation is by invitation only. All other participants must adhere to the above guidelines.
