We bow to the Auspicious Lord with wondrous form, the bestower of all desires, the consort of Lakshmi who destroys all sins, and the abode of all wealth and knowledge.
kṛṣṇam vande manthapāśadharam divyārbhakākṛtim ।
śikhābandhatrayopetam bhaiśmīmadhvakarārcitam ॥
कृष्णम् वन्दे मन्थपाशधरम् दिव्यार्भकाकृतिम्। शिखाबन्धत्रयोपेतम् भैश्मीमध्वकरार्चितम्॥
We bow to Udupi Krishna, holding a churning rod in one hand and rope in the other, in the divine form of a little boy, bearing three knotted tufts of hair, as worshipped by the hands of Rugmini and Acharya Madhva.
